"The Twin Cities Youth Jazz Camp is a fantastic opportunity for students to lean about jazz from the pros. This camp was started by Bernie Edstrom and continues to grow. This coming year, it will be held in two different locations! I visited the camp last year and I checked out four different ensemble rehearsals, all led by seasoned professional jazz musicians with a passion for passing this music on to the next generation. The experience level of the students varied widely in some cases, but all are given ample opportunity to grow to their own potential and to discover talents and abilities within themselves that they never realized they had. Hi Everyone,
Thank you for your interest in this years sessions of the Twin Cities Youth Jazz Camp. We are thrilled to be back again at F.A.I.R School in Crystal and very proud to be back again at the Colin Powell Youth Center in Minneapolis, in conjunction with our friends at Urban Ventures. This means we will be able to serve 170 students from all over the Twin Cities area again this year.

The Director of the TCY Jazz Camp, Bernie Edstrom is busy spreading the word and the intent of his vision for the Jazz Camp. As of this date, Bernie has visited these schools and band instructors:
